Jezenia T. Beale, 21, of Lexington Park, has been charged with third-degree burglary and three counts of malicious destruction of property valued under $1,000 after deputies said she forced her way into an apartment on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park and damaged several items on June 19, 2026.

According to allegations filed by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded to Great Mills Road in Lexington Park for a reported assault and contacted four victims inside an apartment. One adult male victim told the deputy that Beale “began to make threats” and accused another adult male victim of stealing her bag. The victim said Beale then followed the group to their apartment and “kicked the door in.”

The same victim reported that Beale entered the apartment without permission and damaged property inside. The allegations state that Beale broke a Fender guitar and knocked numerous items onto the floor, including vases, flowers and a candle that had been on a hallway cabinet. The victim also told the deputy he did not give Beale permission to enter the residence.

Deputies said the victim showed doorbell camera footage that captured Beale kicking in the apartment door and then entering the residence. After leaving the apartment, Beale was located on a sidewalk along FDR Boulevard.

After Beale was read her rights, she told the deputy “that she had left her purse with an unknown subject and when she returned, nobody she knew had possession of her purse.” She also stated that an adult male victim “claimed he had her purse in a drawer in his apartment.” Beale “claimed to only interact” with that victim verbally and then refused to speak further with the deputy.

The property damage include an apartment door valued at approximately $400, a Fender guitar valued at approximately $700, and a Samsung Galaxy 14 phone valued at approximately $200. The door is listed as belonging to the property owner, while the guitar and phone are listed as belonging to two adult male victims.

Beale was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center and charged. During her initial appearance on June 20, 2026, she waived an attorney for that hearing only, and a judicial officer set a $5,000 unsecured personal bond. Records show the bond was posted the same day.

As conditions of release, Beale was ordered not to engage in criminal conduct, to appear in court when notified, not to contact or harass the victims, not to intimidate them, not to abuse or threaten to abuse them, and not to enter or be near the apartment on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park.
