On Saturday, July 4, 2026, at approximately 11:15 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the area of 3rd Street and Erie Avenue in North Beach, for the reported stabbing.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a 46-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest and back. The patient was conscious alert and breathing.
EMS requested a helicopter to land nearby.
Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 2 landed nearby and transported the man to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
Police are investigating the assault and updates will be provided when they become available.
