Knox James Long

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious son, Knox James Long, on July 13, 2026, at just three months old, from Clements, Maryland.
Though his time on earth was far too short, Knox filled every day with love, laughter, and endless joy. He was the happiest baby, with a smile that could brighten any room. On his feisty days, he was affectionately known as “the alligator,” but he was just as cuddly and sweet, always happiest in the arms of those who loved him. Whether he was splashing in the bath, kicking in the pool, or snuggled close to his mommy and daddy, Knox lived every day with a joyful spirit. His beautiful life touched countless hearts in just three short months.
Knox is survived by his loving parents, Jenny and Hunter Long; his grandparents, Ricky and Sissy Thompson and Jimmy Long; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who cherished him.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tammy Long.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Knox’s life during a visitation on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall.
Although our arms are empty, our hearts will forever hold the love, laughter, and precious memories of our sweet Knox. While his time with us was brief, the love he gave and the joy he brought will remain with us forever.
His journey on earth was far too short, but we find comfort in knowing he is running free in Heaven, surrounded by peace and endless love.
