On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at approximately 6:30 p.m., firefighters responded to Squaw Valley Lane, in Prince Frederick for a structure fire.
A 20 x 40 Wood Frame and Metal detached garage was destroyed in the fire.
The fire was caused by an electrical event in a light fixture above the workbench. An adjacent storage trailer and an inoperable vehicle were also damaged in the fire.
The loss to the structure and contents was estimated at $25,000 by the state Fire Marshal.
