Charles Herbert Price, 76 of Lexington Park, MD, entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Charles, affectionately known as Uncle Bubbie and Charlie, was born January 6, 1941 to the late Claude Sylvester Price and Bertha May Gordan. He was educated in the St. Mary’s County Public School system. He worked for many years at Quality Moving Company as a laborer.
Charles enjoyed riding his bicycle, smoking his pipe and watching old westerns. He also enjoyed riding the STS bus and hanging out with his friends at the Lexington Park soup kitchen in St. Mary’s County, MD. Charles loved visiting and talking with his friends and family more than anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Mary Morgan (John-deceased), Elizabeth Barnes (Richard-deceased) and brother, Brent Price (Catherine).
Charles is survived by one brother and four sisters; Frances Perry (Smitty) of Baltimore, MD, Cecelia Price of Lexington Park, MD, Evelyn Harris (Lemmie-deceased) of Lexington Park, MD, Sylvester Bennett (Mae Helen-deceased) of Ridge MD and twin sister, Alice Chase (William-deceased) of Lexington Park, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was dearly loved by many and will be severely missed.
The family would greatly appreciate monetary donations to help with funeral expenses. Donations may be made directly to Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home via cashier’s check, cash or credit card. No personal checks will be accepted.

Family and friends will unite on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 for visitation at 10 am until time of service at 11 am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 38576 Brett Way, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
Interment will be private.
