I’m sure the victim and assailant are both elderly Asian women, cuz we all know those elderly Asian women are always popping caps in each other…

This crime is getting worse and its because the judges are just slapping these criminals on the wrist instead of giving them real jail time.Thats the problem. They keep letting these criminals off with probation or stet docket for carrying a gun or other crimes instead of being tough like they should be to protect the public. If you dont believe me just look at the numbers on case search and you will see.THese judges are not locking these thugs up and they know they wont go to jail and keep repeating their crimes.LOOK IT UP PLEASE.

    • Anonymous on December 16, 2017 at 11:21 am

Half the problem is the jail already at capacity they’ve been full for years and nobody can agree on a budget for a new one. Yhe jail is outdated and at capacity they can only fit so many losers.

      • cheywolf on December 18, 2017 at 8:31 am

So we should just let murderers, rapist and thieve free? If you cannot live like a civilized human being apparently you shouldn’t care about a little over crowdness. Again it seems criminals have more rights than victims…

  7. No name on December 15, 2017 at 4:10 pm

Everything everyone has to say is something completely negative you don’t know what occurred in the situation so keep your negative comments to yourself

        STFU!!

    • Gary on December 18, 2017 at 6:12 am

So “no Name”, tell us how there is somehow, something positive about “what occurred in the situation” that leaves an 18 year old dead in the street.

    • Adam 12 on December 18, 2017 at 12:58 pm

Where to begin with this one? Are you saying this shooting was somehow justified? Please tell us the real story. I’l wait…..

    • Jimmy Dean on December 18, 2017 at 10:42 pm

      Ahhhh shaddup.

    • RD on December 19, 2017 at 8:29 am

As if killing another human being is justified. With the amounts of stabbings and shootings that have occurred recently, what can you say positive about it other than you are glad it isn’t you. There is very little if anything you can say positive about this. Makes me think you see validity in someone killing another person.

    • Anonymous on December 19, 2017 at 11:31 am

Is there ever anything positive that can be said for an 18 year old dead and a 20 year old about to spend the rest of his life in prison? Here, I have one, I am positive that multiple lives were ruined over some trivial argument.

    • cheywolf on December 19, 2017 at 12:40 pm

He took a life, he mad a bad decision. He could have kept driving but he decided to play GOD and kill someone. What more do I need to know. Stop making criminals victims. You are part of the problem.

      • T J Hooker on December 20, 2017 at 8:11 am

Oh another murder scaled down to “a bad decision”
        A$$hole.

  8. Anonymous on December 15, 2017 at 10:48 pm

So sad 18 years old…dead! My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this young fella. I don’t know the situation so no I won’t judge, I just know it’s sad and its happening more and more and closer and closer to home.

  10. DC on December 18, 2017 at 8:40 pm

Gun charge after gun charge on this punks record. Can’t believe he wasnt in jail after the 1st offense. And I don’t want to hear because the jails are full. That ain’t true. Great job system. Now a life is lost.

    • Anonymous on December 19, 2017 at 2:16 pm

The Judges are making the public less safe because they dont give these thugs any jail time when they are caught the first and 2nd time,The judges need to give harsh jail time or the problem and crime will just get worse.GET RID of these JUDGES who care more about the criminals then the public.

  11. brittany on December 18, 2017 at 9:33 pm

This murderer was out on bond for possessing a firearm. Way to go Chuck Co!!

    • Malcolm X on December 20, 2017 at 9:58 am

You blame the county? The judges and the District Court commissioners work for the state. How can a county be responsible for anything to do with this?

    • toomuchluv on December 21, 2017 at 1:52 pm

Blame the parents for bonding him out not once but TWICE in TWO months (PG and CC) for a weapon he ended up using to end a life. How friggin stupid since all the signs were there!!!!!!

  12. Adam 12 on December 18, 2017 at 11:41 pm

    Shocker.

  13. joe johnson on December 19, 2017 at 6:14 am

WHY?, Every time I see a fool with one of these little, faint ass, BS mustache’s, I know he’s trying to prove his MANHOOD to someone. I bet you, he also used the line, “I”M A GROWN ASS MAN,” which NO – GROWN MAN would Ever have to say. Go shave, and when a 3yr old thinks your Grown-Up then you’ve made the change to adulthood. This is a Social problem, being perpetrated by indignant and ignorant people; it has to Stop and Stop NOW. Also, I hope this vain little boy understands the pain in which he has caused in so many, but his future looks bleak, with little hope of Rehabilitation.

My God help the Family and Friends of Cameron Marcel Townsend, get through this terrible time, I hope them lots of Love and Forgiveness into their hearts.

    • Dog Trainer on December 20, 2017 at 8:13 am

Oh, did he ask for forgiveness?

Or are you one of these “automatic forgiveness for everyone” morons?

    • Adam 12 on December 20, 2017 at 1:24 pm

On the positive side, he got a $h*t ton of street cred.

  17. toomuchluv on December 21, 2017 at 1:38 pm

ANOTHER kid bonded out of jail; let’s see the last bonded out kid was killed along with a friend in a horrendous car wreck into the pole by BJs. if they leave these barely legal adults in jail, the victim would be alive and the [now a] killer would be at the movies. STOP BAILING OUT YOUR KIDS; they will learn only if you leave them in there to think long and hard about their bad decisions. stupid stupid stupid. prayers to all but seriously, folks think about holding your kids responsible for their (not yours) actions. give the money to charity!
