The Senior Information and Assistance staff is scheduling appointments for the Income Tax Preparation Program starting on Monday, Feb. 5, and continuing each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through April 17. Services are free for seniors and low to moderate-income adults who meet the eligibility guidelines.
All appointments will be held at the Richard R Clark Senior Center (1210 East Charles Street in La Plata). To schedule an appointment, persons Age 60 and over call 301-609-5712, and persons between the ages of 18-59 call 301-609-5704. Citizens with special needs may contact the Maryland Relay Service at 711, or Relay Service TDD: 866-269-9006. Services are provided by AARP Volunteer Tax Professionals.
