  3. Metricguy on February 6, 2018 at 8:54 pm

There’s a problem with the math that is being presented here.

    • Standardguy on February 7, 2018 at 9:25 am

You might need to get a calculator if its too much for your brain to handle. There was 2 vials of the substance. One vial contained 250ml and the other contained 500 ml. Thats a total of 750ml. 1ml of oil = 1 gram of marijuana. That means he had the equivalent of 750grams of marijuana. He was charged with possession of 10+ grams of marijuana. What is the math problem???

      • Anonymous on February 8, 2018 at 9:47 am

I think the issue lies with the conversion of 1ml oil to 1g of flowers. I mean, that’s where it lies in my mind. It’s the same kind of double-standard sentencing so prevalent in the 80’s with crack and powdered cocaine.

      • Standardguy on February 8, 2018 at 3:27 pm

The problem is vape carts are measured in mg not ml.

I highly doubt it takes 750 grams of pot to make 1 750ml bottle, its a small bottle they try to make it seem so much worse. Just saying.

    • Jeff Spicoli on February 7, 2018 at 6:57 am

Reading isn’t your thing, eh? “According to the Drug Enforcement Unit and the State’s Attorney’s Office 1 ML of oil is equal to 1 gram of marijuana.” That’s how they are charged dummy. Quite smoking weed, you’ll be better off. Loser.

Jeff see that SPEED LIMIT sign it says 55mph, go thrown stones at your glass house.

You repeating a stereo type meant to oppress trade from Mexico almost 100 years old moron, in fact it’s the same place we get the moronic “Lazy Mexican,” BS. Search for the 1937 Marihuana Tax Act. BTW, If you can’t have your own original idea on the subject, I hope you’ll get pulled out of your car, in your Sunday best, on your way to Church, with your wife and kids in the car, because you are just a hard-wired Republican talking-head.

Liquor Stores & Bars kill cool people like you Jeff. Or you go suck on some pig fat and choke to death, Archy Flunker “Winner”.

Your “opinion” stands cupcake, too bad thats not factual,LOL. People like you are funny, so ignorant. Alcohol is way worse, and good thing the majority of people can see that and arent as stupid as you. Idiot.

          • Jeff Spicoli on February 12, 2018 at 9:49 am

Saying marijuana…has never killed anyone is like saying tobacco has never killed anyone. Nobody dies from a tobacco overdose. You can’t smoke yourself to death. And yet nobody would dispute that tobacco causes death. … You die from lung cancer–you don’t die from smoking. You die from what smoking did to your lungs, which is a direct effect from smoking. And so in that same way marijuana does kill people in the form of mental illnesses and suicide, in the form of car crashes. … You can’t say marijuana doesn’t kill. Let’s legalize heroin and cocaine while we are at it. I mean they start out as a harmless plant. Who are we to say what people can put in their bodies. Have at it and let the chips fall where they may.

      • anonymous on February 13, 2018 at 6:57 pm

Since you seemed obsessed with enforcing all laws why don’t you become a “Lawman”, mean while SDSUHO and enjoy the ride. You judge so quickly like you’re dog, I mean god.

  7. my clock says its 420 on February 7, 2018 at 6:53 am

Arrest him for driving under the influence but that should be it. Legalize it already. It is a waste of taxpayer money chasing down folks for weed when cigarettes do much more harm & we still tax them & happily take the money. Free PDP Jr! Free the Weed!

  8. Metricguy on February 7, 2018 at 7:28 am

1 ml only equals 1 gram if it is water. Volume and weight are not the same thing and cannot be compared this way, unless it’s water

    • Put down the bong on February 7, 2018 at 9:29 am

Oh my god dude. You are as dense as it gets. It isnt “literally” equal, it is a legal “equivalence”. As in, the penalty for 1 gram of marijuana is the same as the penalty of 1 ml of THC oil.

      • Standardguy on February 8, 2018 at 3:33 pm

It doesn’t matter what equals 1 gram. He still only had less than 1ml of oil. He had 750 mg or .75 ml

  9. Metricguy on February 7, 2018 at 7:55 am

If that’s really what he had in his possession, it would be worth about $637,500. Something doesn’t add up here…

    • George W on February 7, 2018 at 8:26 am

Fuzzy math. Maybe the States Attorney’s Office tested the THC content themselves?

  10. LEGAL WITH MMCC on February 7, 2018 at 8:02 am

Hes getting the big one for 2 used THC catridges… They said he had a fifth gallon!
Thats some funny $#!+ right there, I dont care who you are..

  11. LEGAL WITH MMCC on February 7, 2018 at 8:06 am

Hey, That beer had more % of alcohol when field tested so charge him with a bigger DUI.

    • anonymous on February 7, 2018 at 9:43 am

You might be onto something, Alcohol and many drugs are cumulative, when consumed; Marijuana is NOT, you can only get high as the grade of it. Since it doesn’t say a Tincture, I summarize it’s to be used in a vaporizer i.e. E-Cigarette. It’s extremely unlikely, the charge fits the crime, closer to maybe 21grams and 7grams respectively, comparatively to Marijuana bud/flower. The Grading could range from A to Z, A being the best – Z being the worst – it’s not plausible he can afford ‘A’ and is carting it around with him, because he’d literally be stuck to a chair.

P.S. The neck tattoo is of initials – wither his mother, sister or a daughter that has passed, definitely not a typical neck tattoo idiot. This is the kind of guy the CCSO & MSP ensure they throw the book at for every infraction, while many motorist get free passes, I mean “Warnings”, mean while with Heroin Addicts and Speeders everywhere, they’re focused on the wrong subset. Why go for Dime-a-Dozen White-Collar commuting Speeders w adderall and cocaine when you can get the Wawa Trespassers.

  12. HighTimes on February 7, 2018 at 9:32 am

Pot smokers are the WORST. The obsession is sort of scary. If you cant live your life without smoking pot, please do us all a favor and kill yourself.

    • anonymous on February 8, 2018 at 12:41 pm

Kind of like you’re obsessed with killing yourself with Fat, Sugar, and Salt; take your “New teetotaler” ways with you to the grave.

    • Anonymous on February 8, 2018 at 5:16 pm

You realize alcohol is way worse? So glad this state is recognizing the stupidity of pot being illegal.Ignorant people like you are a minority now fortunately.Deal with It.

      • HighTimes on February 12, 2018 at 12:26 pm

I actually agree, not sure why your retort is about alcohol. This isnt an alcohol issue, this is a losers smoking pot issue. I am against alcohol (and tobacco for that matter). But those two items are legal. Marijuana isnt. The idea that getting high is so important that you will risk the legal ramifications is asinine to me. I support your right to change the laws, and maybe some day the laws will change, and then you can have at it. But while it is illegal, risking everything just to smoke pot is about as STUPID as it gets. And then when you get arrested for it, and the ramifications of that arrest follow you, you will be one of those people whining and crying about “the system” because you couldnt follow the rules.

    • PotKarma on February 8, 2018 at 5:51 pm

    • How ironic on February 8, 2018 at 7:07 pm

Meanwhile one of your friends or family members are somewhere nodding out from the opioid they’re addicted to.

      • Jeff Spicoli on February 12, 2018 at 9:51 am

My friends aren’t losers or drug addicts.

        • anonymous on February 13, 2018 at 9:11 am

The friends and family members that are closeted over-users & abusers of the pain meds, they’re quietly abusing their prescriptions, using Tylenol as a cheap, controlled, and effective upper. Without ever dealing with pain in a holistic approach. Instead, your family members go to one of those “Pain Management” Drs that prescribes pain meds only. Great then, they are “cows” only following the herd! So I guess you are the “Loser,” keep winning with them, then.

          • Jeff Spicoli on February 13, 2018 at 12:39 pm

Wrong genius. Try again. Again, my family isn’t a bunch of potheads or losers. Only losers like you defend drug abuse.

  13. Pete on February 7, 2018 at 6:55 pm

This is not a crime. Period!

    • Charles on February 8, 2018 at 9:58 am

      Yes it is, idiot

    • Jeff Spicoli on February 8, 2018 at 11:31 am

Sorry, the law says otherwise. Maybe you should post his bail and pray he doesn’t kill anyone you know while driving.

      • Anonymous on February 9, 2018 at 5:06 pm

LMAO this guy is so stupid, anybody thats ever smoked pot will tell you if anything it helps your driving, You people are so ignorant. Go watch some more reefer madness LOL soooo clueless.

        • Jeff Spicoli on February 12, 2018 at 9:52 am

Helps your driving? There you have it people. The dumbest comment of the day. So by your logic if a guy is high and gets behind the wheel of a car, gets in an accident and kills a family member, you are OK with that? Got it.

          • anonymous on February 13, 2018 at 9:13 am

Yes, because it was the family member’s “choice” to get in a vehicle.

  14. Anonymous on February 7, 2018 at 7:37 pm

Instead of people helping a brother out that’s all people do is hate… stay up PAUL.. everyone makes mistakes just learn of them.

    • Jeff Spicoli on February 8, 2018 at 11:33 am

Where does Paul work? I mean legitimately? Or is his full time job weed? If so, his life expectancy isn’t that great. Peddling drugs usually ends bad; either legal troubles, serious injuries or death.

      • Anonymous on February 9, 2018 at 5:09 pm

full time job weed? LOOOOL. Jeff, you are such a clueless IDIOT! youre probably old as f and look like a total dork.

        • Jeff Spicoli on February 12, 2018 at 9:56 am

Does he have a job or not? Or does he just sell marijuana oil? Is he enrolled in a pension plan or does the weed provide him a 401K plan? Does he pay taxes on what he sells? Those are legitimate questions.

          • anonymous on February 13, 2018 at 6:53 pm

Is your full time spewing shiot out ur mouth, or is that ur arse talking again Jeff. Does your eating habits pay the bills and your 401k. Maybe you should run for President since ur such a winner like Trump & Jeff Sessions.

    • Anonymous on February 9, 2018 at 9:45 am

Did you help him out? Did you pay his bail or try to teach him a better way? Did you help him acquire a skill so he could get a real career? Did you help to teach him respect for others and respect for laws and respect for authority? Probably not, you just made a random comment of “stay up PAUL” and moved on.

  15. Anonymous on February 8, 2018 at 6:34 am

Shouldn’t be hard to prove that the arresting officer meant mg instead of ml. Especially when you see the evidence next to a fifth bottle. I don’t think 750 ml would fit in that vial. I wish Calvert would stop wasting taxpayer dollars on this sort of witch hunt.

    • Jeff Spicoli on February 8, 2018 at 11:34 am

Witch hunt? This idiot made it easy for the cops.

      • Starfish on February 9, 2018 at 3:37 pm

        • Jeff Spicoli on February 12, 2018 at 9:57 am

Oh man, you got me there. Smoke up loser!

  16. HighTimes on February 12, 2018 at 12:31 pm

Why is everyone’s first response in defense of pot that alcohol is bad? No s**t Sherlock. I am having trouble grasping how “alcohol is worse” equals “marijuana is not bad”. And now we have people trying to tell us that marijuana makes people better drivers? Hahahaha. What other talents are enhanced with marijuana? Does it make you a more accurate shot with a pistol? Does it help you score higher on exams?

    • anonymous on February 13, 2018 at 9:45 am

One poster did comment, “Kind of like you’re obsessed with killing yourself with Fat, Sugar, and Salt.”

      Nobody drives better impaired.

Though it can calm nerves, and general inflammation. Even the IOC at one time found marijuana as a “Performance Enhancing drug,” but has since rescinded most of their out-right ban.

Alcohol has been proven quite dangerous, and easy to over consume, were marijuana is Not. Ingesting food and water will calm a marijuana high, where with alcohol – will only make a fed drunk. While, 2 glasses of wine actually kill more brain cells than a single blunt of marijuana does. One’s legal Vices should not be predicated on old misinformed stereotypes. the former Prohibition on Alcohol didn’t work and neither is it working on Marijuana. In-fact, it’s cost us US taxpayers a lot more in multiple ways including in real dollar figures and lives, that behooves us to use those tax-dollars far differently.

An educated statement would be, “I don’t use it, I don’t suggest others use it, but I’m not perfect either.”
