Loki is a large, young, and loving Doberman pinscher mix. Sadly, he was bounced around from home to home ending up at the local shelter. Loki deserves a stable permanent home where he is loved. Loki would do best in a home with older kids 8 yrs. and older due to his size and energy level. He knows some basic commands; he is still working to walk on a leash without pulling. Loki is approx. 70lbs and still growing. He will do best with an experienced dog owner and it’s highly recommended to continue obedience training for this smart guy. This establishes a great relationship between dog and adopter. Loki will make a wonderful companion.

A little bit of breed information:
Mixed breed dogs are generally healthier than purebred because they draw from a broader gene pool. When adopting a mixed breed dog, focus more on personality rather than breed. This can help so that you appreciate the dog even more. Love him on his own terms and he will love you back more.
“He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.”
