Two Teenagers Arrested for Shooting at Oxon Hill High School

Prince George’s County Police detectives identified and charged two teenagers in connection with a non-fatal shooting outside of Oxon Hill High School on Monday. The teenage victim, who is a student at the school, was treated and released from the hospital several hours later. The suspects are 17-year-old Zanaya Bryant of the 7700 block of Kirby Manor Court in Clinton and 18-year-old Anthony Hollingsworth of the 4700 block of Woodelves Way in Clinton. Both are charged as adults with attempted murder and related charges. Bryant and the victim are acquaintances.

On February 5th, at approximately 5:15 pm, officers were called to the school in the 6700 block of Leyte Drive for a shooting. The preliminary investigation reveals the victim got into an SUV with the suspects. While inside of the SUV, the victim was shot. He was able to get out of the vehicle and seek help. Preliminary, robbery may be a motive in this case.
