Police in Calvert County Continue Investigate Rash of Robberies

On February 12, 2018 at approximately 8:50 a.m. Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Dash In, located in Prince Frederick, for a report of a Strong Armed Robbery.

The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of the deputies. Calvert Sheriff’s Detectives are actively working this case.

On February 7, 2018, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Subway in Dunkirk, for a report of an armed robbery.

Deputies responded within minutes, but the suspect had already fled.

The suspect was described as a black male, 20 to 25 years of age, between 508 and 510.

This case is believed to be related to the armed robbery of the Prince Frederick Shell station from a day earlier.

On February 6, 2018, at approximately 9:35 p.m., Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Shell gas station in Prince Frederick for a report of an armed robbery.

Units were on the scene within seconds of the broadcast. However, the suspect had already fled the business. The suspect is described as a black male wearing all black.

This case remains under investigation.
