Hisae “Kimmie” Clark, 77, of Lexington Park, MD, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Hospice House of St. Mary’s in Callaway, MD.
She was born July 20, 1940 in Japan to the late Mr. and Mrs. Kikuzi Saito.
On September 27, 1965, Kimmie married her beloved husband, Neil Edwin Clark. Together they celebrated over 49 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in April 2014. She was employed at the Holiday Inn in Solomons, MD for many years in hospitality. She retired once, but went right back to work after her husband passed and worked until this past month. She loved working and she enjoyed the company of her colleagues, whom she loving referred to as her friends. She enjoyed playing the slot machines, knitting, croqueting and feasting on sushi. However, her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.
Kimmie is survived by her son, Teddy L. Clark and his wife, Cathy of Great Mills, MD; daughter, Mimi L. Clark of Front Royal, VA; grandchildren: Tyler L. Clark of Great Mills, MD and Melissa Williams of Pasadena, MD; her great grandchildren: Thomas Richardson, Skilar Richardson, Josh Richardson, and Koda Spratt; her siblings in Japan; and many extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband.
Services will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, MD.
