Barbara Jean “Bobbie” Johnson, 81, of Upper Marlboro passed away February 16th, 2018 at Future Care.
“Bobbie” retired from the Prince George’s County Courthouse as a legal secretary in 2001. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and soon to be great-grandmother who always put a smile on everyone’s faces. Hobbies that she enjoyed include going to the beach, reading, coloring in adult coloring books, playing cards, and spending time with family.
“Bobbie” was also an avid Baseball fan and loved the Washington Nationals, very rarely missing a game if possible. She also was over the moon knowing that she would be a great-grandmother and would always light up when talking about meeting them.
“Bobbie” is survived by her husband George R Johnson; Her three kids Dennis L Johnson and his wife Mary E Johnson, Robert K Johnson, and Janice L Johnson; and her three grandkids Matthew L Johnson, Kimberly L Nieves and her husband Alejandro Nieves, and Jennifer L Johnson.
