Patricia Ann Linville, age 74 of Lancaster, Virginia, died February 20, 2018 at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Patricia was a retired Secretary, having worked for her family’s business for 30 plus years. She lived a happy and fulfilling life and was hopelessly in love with her soulmate and late husband, Roger Linville. Together they raised three children, Ron, Diane, and Ray. She enjoyed traveling, reading, walks on the beach, and every single sunset she ever saw. She enjoyed spoiling grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless others with thoughtful treasures from her church thrift store. She always seemed to have a knack for picking just the right gifts for everyone and that brought her so much joy. She will be missed by so many.
She was the daughter of Charles James Rodenizer and Myrtle Maggie Lytle Rodenizer. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Rodger Dwayne Linville; her brothers, Charles James Rodenizer, John Lawrence Rodenizer, Curtis Rodenizer, and Harry Rodenizer; and her sisters, Dora Mae Simmons and Pauline Cole.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Linville; her sons, Ron Linville and Ray Linville; her brother, Wayne Allen Rodenizer; her brother-in-law, Emmett Simmons; her sister-in-law, Gwen Rodenizer; her grandchildren, Tommy Rochlinski, Moriah Rochlinski, Devin Linville, Monica Linville, Ryan Linville, Damien Alex Kim Linville, and Paul Hoffman, Jr.; and her honorary grandchild, Gena Rzechula.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Corrottoman Baptist Church, 48 Ottoman Ferry Road, Lancaster, Virginia 22503.
