Crystal Lea [Ellis] Rivera of St. Leonard, MD, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018, at the age of 34.
She was born on April 17, 1983, in Washington, DC, to Sharon K. [Smith] and David E. Ellis, Sr.
Crystal was a graduate of Northern High School, Owings, MD. She had a very strong love of animals, enjoyed going fishing and shopping. She was involved in the community with various kids activities and planning family outings and trips. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and making memories.
Crystal was the beloved wife of Tim L. Rivera and the loving mother of Jaydon Murray, Daniel Ellis, Haley Rivera and Chloe Norwood. She was the sister of David E. Ellis, Jr.(Jen) and the best friend of Amanda Webb-Mai. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother Dorothy V. Smith, God-daughter Rilee Peifer and numerous other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her lovable and faithful companions “Pepper” and “Layla”.
Family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736, on Wednesday, March 7 from 4 to 8 pm, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 8 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Gardens, Ward Road, Dunkirk, MD 20754.
