Helen Cartalla Caballero, 75, of Waldorf, MD, died on March 9, 2018 at Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD.
Helen was a Pharmaceutical Technician for 25 years with local hospitals, including Greater Southeast Hospital in Washington, D.C. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of St. Charles in Waldorf, MD. She was known as a hard worker and was always singing hymns. Most important to her was spending time with her grandchildren.
She was daughter of the late Lucan Cartalla and Victoria Alvarez Cartalla. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Rudolpho Duyongco.
She is survived by her husband, Bienvenido Caballero; two sons, Eugene Caballero, and his wife Betsey, and Ian Caballero, and his wife Christina; one brother, Nehemiah Cartalla, and his wife Alit; one sister, Caroline Duyongco; and six granchildren, Josiah, Malachi, Isaiah, Samuel, Julio, and Rebekah.
Friends received on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5pm until time of Funeral Service at 7pm at First Baptist Church of St. Charles, 136 Stoddert Avenue, Waldorf, MD 20602. Interment will be on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11am at Heritage Memorial Cemetery, 13472 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
