On Wednesday, March 14, 2018., at approximately 12:00 p.m., fire, police, and rescue crews responded to a report of a serious motor vehicle accident with entrapment involving an occupied school bus on Budds Creek Road and Horseshoe Road, in Clements.
Crews arrived on the scene to discover a passenger vehicle with the occupant trapped and unconscious, with the bus in a ditch off the roadway.
The driver of the passenger car was transported to Prince George’s Shock Trauma with life-threatening injuries by helicopter.
The bus driver along with the four children on the bus were transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital with minor injuries.
