Charles County public schools will open two hours late tomorrow, Thursday, March 22, 2018. Staff will continue to monitor road conditions for any additional changes to tomorrow’s schedule. There is a code two, which is a two-hour delay, for staff that follow the code system. All morning prekindergarten classes are canceled tomorrow. The AlphaBest program at all county elementary schools will open at 8 a.m.
Calvert County public schools will be opening 2 hrs late on 3/22. Code 1 for 12-mo. staff.
• There will be no a.m. Pre-K.
• All emergency personnel report on time.
• No Child Nutrition Workers, including Child Nutrition Drivers, are to report prior to 8 a.m.
• 12-month staff report up to 1 hr late.
• Child care will open at 7:30am.
St. Mary’s County Public Schools will open 2 hrs late (Code 5) on Thursday, Mar 22, 2018. AM Pre-K and AM Head Start will not have school. However, there will be classes for PM Pre-K and PM Head Start.
Prince George’s County Public Schools and offices will open with a two hour delay. EMERGENCY PERSONNEL must report to work on time and are not eligible for liberal leave.
There will be no work-study transportation. (Those students should not report to school.)
There will be no half-day Early Childhood Center (ECC), half-day Special Education Programs, or half-day PreK.
Any other school program requiring transportation prior to 12 noon will NOT have transportation, including Howard B. Owens Science Center,JA Finance Park, and William S. Schmidt Center (Camp Schmidt)
All field trips will be cancelled.
Food Services will offer breakfast.
Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open two hours late tomorrow, March 22. There will be no morning half-day pre-kindergarten or ECI classes, and no morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South. Students in full-day pre-kindergarten classes will have class, and should report two hours later than normal.
