According to a preliminary investigation, troopers from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack, along with deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, responded on Thursday, May 2, 2019, shortly after 10 p.m. to a 911 call from the Motel 6 on Three Notch Road in Lexington Park, for a report of an armed robbery in progress.
