On Saturday, July 6, 2019, at approximately 1:00 p.m., police fire, and rescue personnel responded to the area of Three Notch Road and Joy Lane in Hollywood, for the motor vehicle accident reported serious with one vehicle overturned in the woods.
Crews arrived on scene to find a single vehicle off the roadway and on its roof, with all four occupants out of the vehicle.
Two adult patients signed care refusal forms on the scene.
Two pediatric patients, aged 6 and 8, were transported by ambulance to the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department where Maryland State Police Helicopters Trooper 2 and Trooper 7 landed and then transported both patients to an area trauma center.
Troopers from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrick are investigating the crash. Updates will be provided when they become available.
