The Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department regrets to announce the untimely passing of Past Fire Chief Wayne Hardesty (1999-2000).
He was a life member of our department, served in many capacities and our hearts are hanging very heavily today.
More background on Chief Hardesty and funeral arrangements will be announced soon. Please keep his wife, children, grandchildren (who he adored) and loved ones in your prayers during this difficult time.

On Saturday, August 8, 2020 at approximately 1100 hours, a procession will escort Chief Hardesty from Rausch Funeral home (Broomes Island Road) to the Huntingtown VFD where services will occur.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department.
