On Sunday, October 25, 2020, at approximately 3:55 p.m., police, fire and emergency medical personnel responded to 10061 Lyles Place in Waldorf, for the reported shooting.
Dispatchers advised the 911 caller reported someone had been shot, and then hung up on the call taker.
Dispatchers then advised they received a call from the staffing of UM Charles Regional Medical Center reporting they received a phone call stating a gunshot victim was currently being driven to the hospital in a black vehicle.
Officers on the scene of the hospital confirmed a vehicle dropped off a male victim, with the victim’s family causing loud disturbance, Officers requested additional units to the hospital for assistance.
A short time later, police located blood and blood stained items on the scene of Lyles Place.
The shooting is currently under investigation with no further details provided at this time.
