No Injuries Reported After Single Vehicle Collision Results in Fire in Hughesville

On Thursday, November 5, 2020, at approximately 7:35 a.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of Cracklingtown Road and Beverly Drive in Hughesville, for the motor vehicle collision with one vehicle on fire.

Crews arrived on the scene to find a single vehicle in the roadway and on fire.

The operator and single occupant of the vehicle was able to safely exit the vehicle prior to arrival and was uninjured.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and turned the scene over to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.
