During Governor Larry Hogan’s press conference held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, Hogan announced Maryland has seen record breaking COVID-19 numbers.
Hogan announced Effective Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.
- All indoor operations at bars and restaurants are required to operate at 50% capacity.
- Patrons should not be served if not seated. Along with all seats and tables to be cleaned after use.
- Maryland Department of Health issued a public advisory against any indoor gathering of 25 people or more.
- All State Employees approved for telework, are now required to work remotely. (Strongly recommended for all employers statewide.)
- Surge Planning: Staffing support, care for nursing homes and hospitals.
- Nursing Home Guidance: All visitors to be tested before visiting love ones, all staff increase vigilance, along with facilities to prepare PPE stockpile for winter surge.
