On Monday, November 23, 2020, at approximately 10:40 p.m., 37 firefighters from the Tenth District Volunteer Fire Department and surrounding departments responded to the 4300 block of Mattawoman Creek Road in Marbury, for the reported house on fire.
Crews arrived on the scene to reported fire showing from a one story single family residence.
Firefighters immediately made an aggressive interior attack and found fire throughout the first floor. Crew conducted a primary and secondary searches of the residence which yielded negative results.
No injuries were reported.
The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal responded to investigate the cause of the fire, along with The American Red Cross to assist the displaced occupants.
