Update: 22-Year-Old Huntingtown Man Killed in Motor Vehicle Collision in Prince Frederick

UPDATE: On November 26, 2020 at approximately 5:00 p.m., members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureau and Crash Reconstruction Team responded to single vehicle crash on Wilson Road in the area of Allday Road in Prince Frederick.

Upon arrival units located a Ford SUV off the roadway that been involved in the collision.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2015 Ford was traveling south on Wilson Road. The vehicle left the roadway prior to Allday Road and struck two utility poles. The driver of the Ford was identified as Zachary David Igor Spain, 22 of Huntingtown. Spain was pronounced deceased on scene from the injuries he received during the collision.

Vehicle speed appears to be a contributing factor to this collision.

12/26/2020: On Thursday, November 26, 2020, at approximately 5:00 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of 475 Wilson Road in Huntingtown, for the reported motor vehicle collision with injuries.

A short time later, 911 Dispatchers upgraded the assignment to a serious motor vehicle collision.

Crews arrived on the scene to find a single vehicle off the roadway and into a tree, with wires and a utility pole damaged.

Police pronounced the single occupant/operator deceased on the scene and requested a Crash Reconstruction Team to investigate.
