Sandra Lee Glockler Keyser, 82

Sandra Lee Glockler Keyser, 82 of Port Republic, MD, died on Monday, November 23, 2020 at her home in Kenwood Beach.

She was born on January 19, 1938 in Washington, DC to Walter and Rae Glockler. She married Vincent Keyser on Aug 5, 1963 (57 years of marriage), he survives her. Also surviving are her children; Tracey Hall of Owings MD, Scott Keyser of Port Republic MD, Kelly and husband Rick Foster of Bowie, MD, Katie and her husband Tracy Mabry of Lusby; grandchildren William Buckmaster of Owings MD, Christopher Cole of Pasadena MD, Nicky Mabry and wife Angelica of Lusby MD, Wayne Keyser of Columbia MD, Britney Stratchko of Bowie, MD; and great-granchild Rowan Buckmaster, and beloved dachshund, Squeaky.

She was a long time resident of Kenwood Beach, Calvert County.

She retired from Calvert County government as an addictions counselor  and celebrated 37 years of sobriety in A.A. She graduated from the College of Southern Maryland in 2001 at the age of 63., was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Calvert County, and a long time member of the Post 217 American Legion Auxiliary, in College Park MD.

She enjoyed helping others and travelling.

When COVID restrictions permit, a celebration of life will be held, likely in the springtime.
