One Transported to Trauma Center After Motor Vehicle Collision in Hollywood

On Friday, December 4, 2020, at approximately 3:45 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the area of Hollywood Road and Morgan Road in Hollywood, for the motor vehicle collision reported serious with multiple subjects trapped.

Crews arrived on the scene within minutes to find three vehicles involved in a rear-end style collision with two subjects trapped.

Firefighters from the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department extricated two victims in under 20 minutes.

One victim was transported to an area trauma center with unknown injuries. Two victims were transported to an area hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded and is investigating the collision.
