National Weather Service Advises of Possible Hazardous Weather Conditions for Southern Maryland

Scattered snow showers and flurries have overspread the region, and will linger into the early morning. No significant accumulations are expected, but a light dusting is possible. In addition, wet roads may re-freeze as temperatures fall through the early morning hours.

Anyone venturing out early this morning should use caution and assume any surfaces that appear wet may in fact be icy.

Target Area: Anne Arundel, Calvert, Carroll, Cecil, Central and Eastern Allegany, Central and Southeast Howard, Central and Southeast Montgomery, Charles, Extreme Western Allegany, Frederick, Garrett, Northern Baltimore, Northwest Harford, Northwest Howard, Northwest Montgomery, Prince Georges, Southeast Harford, Southern Baltimore, St. Marys, and Washington.
