Impaired Driver Arrested After Fleeing Scene of Motor Vehicle Collision Involving a St. Mary’s County Medic Unit

On Friday, August 27, 2021, at approximately 8:04 p.m., Medic 18 reported they were involved in a motor vehicle collision with injuries.

Police, fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to Hollywood Road and Doctors Crossing Way in Leonardtown, where they arrived on the scene to find two vehicles in the roadway.

The single occupant of Medic 18 was transported to an area hospital with injuries. She was reported as conscious and semi-alert.

The operator of the second vehicle was described as a skinny white male who fled the area on foot. One passer-by reported the male was seen in the area of Point Lookout Road and Moakley Street asking for a ride. Officers then spotted the male near Clarks Rest

Brandon Charles Seeley 35, of California, Maryland was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado at the time of the crash. He was arrested and charged with the following below.

Seeley was later released on a $1,500 bond in under 15 hours of his arrest. He has not been criminally charged for this incident, only traffic citations.
