On Thursday, April 7, 2022, at approximately 12:52 p.m., firefighters from Mechanicsville, Hollywood, and Hughesville responded to the 29000 block of Grant Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported structure fire.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a small 10×10 shed fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in under 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
This is the 12th working fire in the Charles, Calvert, St. Mary’s County area in the past 8 days.
