On Friday, April 15, 2022, at approximately 9:15 p.m., the NAS Patuxent River Police and St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Three Notch Road and Copeland Lane in Lexington Park, for the single vehicle into the NAS Pax River security fence.
As a reporter for SMNEWSNET was driving in the area responding to a shooting in Lexington Park, they observed two subjects fleeing Southbound on foot away from the vehicle.
NAS Patuxent River officers arrived on the scene to find the keys in the ignition with the vehicle still running. No occupants were found.
No known injuries were reported.
Police are investigating the collision.
