On Saturday, August 27, 2022, at approximately 10:35 p.m., police responded to the Ashley / Regency Furniture located at 21716 Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for an intrusion alarm.
Police arrived on the scene to find multiple windows shattered with no signs of entry.
A few minutes later, police responded to the Family Dollar located directly across the street at 21703 Great Mills Road, for an intrusion alarm.
Police arrived seconds later and located property destruction along with signs of entry.
Witnesses reported two black males in all black running away from the area prior to police arrival.
Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incidents.
