No Injuries After 2-Alarm House Fire in Waldorf, Cause Remains Under Investigation

On Friday, November 17, 2023 at approximately 2:30 a.m., firefighters from Charles County responded to 4183 Log Teal Drive in Waldorf, for the reported house on fire.

Crews arrived on the scene to find a 2-story duplex with fire showing from the rear which had spread to a detached shed and roof of both units.

A 2nd alarm was dispatched a short time later which brought additional units from Charles, Prince George’s and St. Mary’s Counties.

Over 70 firefighters responded and operated for over 3 hours. No injuries were reported.

The investigation into the cause is ongoing. The area of origin was determined to be the detached shed behind the home.

Owner / Occupants were identified as Raven Robinson/Alton Blake with the estimated loss being $400,000.00
