Due to an unanticipated water main break due to an independent contractor working in the area, Green Holly Elementary School will be closing at 1:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
The break has occurred in the area of Esperanza Farms in Lexington Park.
There will be an emergency water service outage for residents located on all roads connected to Esperanza Drive, Millstone Landing Road, Green Holly Road, and Kimberly Court, including Green Holly Elementary School.
MetCom crews are onsite making repairs & anticipate a water shut off at approx 1:15 p.m. It is anticipated that water service will be restored by 6:00 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
