Christina Lynn Rivas, 52, of Hollywood, is facing multiple charges including trespass on private property, disorderly conduct, and resisting or interfering with arrest following an incident on Morgan Road, according to court documents.
The charges stem from an event on March 20, 2026, when Trooper Marquis Johnson of the Maryland State Police responded to a welfare check in the area of Morgan Road in Hollywood. According to charging documents, the trooper was flagged down by Rivas, who was located nearby and made several claims about a residence and family members inside.
Rivas told the trooper that she and her brother had recently purchased a nearby residence and claimed that her mother was inside and had been struck multiple times. She also alleged that someone had stolen keys to the home and said she needed them to check on her mother, stating that her mother was “about to die,” according to court records.
Authorities reported that based on prior interactions, the trooper knew Rivas was not at the correct address, but she continued to insist that she was. When Rivas attempted to approach the residence, the trooper physically stopped her and instructed her to remain near the patrol vehicle.
According to the report, Rivas became agitated and began yelling, including statements such as, “GET THE F##K OFF ME.” She continued shouting and later yelled, “F##K YOU,” and “F##K YOU, B##CH, I CALLED YOU,” despite being instructed to stop.
A deputy from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office arrived to assist while the trooper made contact with a nearby resident. That resident reported that Rivas had been yelling about family members inside a home and attempting to gain entry. The resident also stated the property was abandoned and provided contact information for the owner.
Further investigation revealed that Rivas had previously been issued a notice not to trespass on a nearby property on Morgan Road. A male resident told police that Rivas had come onto his property multiple times earlier that day and had been told to stay away. He also reported that she walked through both the front and rear yards while yelling and using profane language.
The resident additionally told police that Rivas demanded keys to a residence and made threats, including a statement that she would kill him using fentanyl, according to the report.
Officers stated that Rivas continued yelling and screaming while they were on scene and did not have permission to be on the property. At approximately 4:38 p.m., she was placed under arrest. According to documents, Rivas initially resisted by sitting on the ground and tensing her arms, preventing officers from placing handcuffs on her. Deputies then placed her on her stomach and secured her in handcuffs without further incident.
Rivas was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center, where she was processed and formally charged.
Court records show that she was released on a $2,000 unsecured personal bond with conditions, including that she not enter or be near Morgan Road in Hollywood and that she appear for all scheduled court proceedings.
