On Friday, March 27, 2026, at approximately 4:34 a.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the intersection of Great Mills Road and South Shangri-La Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported motor vehicle collision with injuries.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a two vehicle collision with one vehicle into the Pho D’Lite building, with no entrapment and two patients for evaluation.
Emergency medical personnel consulted for aviation transported, however, the patient was later transported by ambulance to an area hospital with injuries to the head/upper-body.
Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded ad handled the crash investigation.
A county building inspector was requested to the scene due to the structural damage to the building.
