One Flown to Trauma Center With Life-Threatening Injuries After Rollover Collision in Waldorf

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at approximately 11:55 a.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the area of 15101 Poplar Hill Road in Waldorf, for the serious motor vehicle collision with rollover.

911 callers reported a single vehicle struck a tree and rolled over multiple times with unknown injuries or number of occupants in the vehicle.

Crews quickly arrived on the scene to confirm a single vehicle rollover with one trapped and unconscious.

A helicopter was requested to land nearby due to the patient being unconscious with agonal breathing.

Firefighters extricated the victim in under 12 minutes from their arrival time.

U.S. Park Police Eagle 2 landed nearby and transported the victim to the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the collision.
