Christina Lynn Rivas, 52, of Hollywood, is facing multiple misdemeanor charges including trespass on private property, disorderly conduct, and resisting or interfering with arrest following an incident on March 20, 2026, according to court documents.

According to charging documents filed in the District Court for St. Mary’s County, Maryland State Police responded around 4:19 p.m. to the area of Morgan Road in Hollywood for a welfare check. Officers reported that before arriving, they were flagged down by Rivas near Morgan Road in Hollywood.

Rivas allegedly told the responding trooper that she and her brother had recently purchased a nearby residence and claimed that a family member inside the home had been harmed. She also stated that someone had taken keys to the residence and said she needed them to check on her mother, claiming her mother “was about to die”.

The trooper noted in the report that based on prior interactions, he believed Rivas was at the wrong location, but she continued to insist she was at the correct address. When Rivas attempted to approach the residence, the officer stopped her and instructed her to remain near the patrol vehicle.

According to the report, Rivas became increasingly agitated and yelled statements including, “GET THE F##K OFF ME,” and “F##K YOU.” Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist.

Witness statements indicate that Rivas had been yelling outside a nearby property and attempting to gain entry into a residence described as abandoned. A witness told police that Rivas was “yelling that her mother and sister were inside the residence and that someone was hitting her mother.”

Another individual reported that Rivas demanded the return of keys and allegedly made threats, including stating she would kill someone “using fentanyl.” Court documents also state that Rivas had previously been issued a notice not to trespass at the property in February 2026.

Officers reported that Rivas continued yelling and using profane language while on property where she did not have permission to be. At approximately 4:38 p.m., she was informed she was under arrest. According to the report, Rivas responded “NO,” claimed she lived there, and sat on the ground while tensing her arms, preventing officers from immediately placing handcuffs on her.

Deputies then placed her on the ground and secured her in handcuffs without further incident. She was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center, where she was processed and formally charged.

Court records show that Rivas was released on March 21, 2026, on a $2,000 unsecured personal bond with conditions, including that she not return to Morgan Road in Hollywood and that she appear for all scheduled court proceedings.

A court date is scheduled for April 21, 2026, in St. Mary’s District Court.
