On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., 49 Fire and EMS personnel from Charles and Prince George’s County responded to the 12400 block of Hidden View Place in Waldorf, for the reported house on fire with animals inside.
Crews arrived on the scene to find fire showing from the one-story in the front and a two-story rear with a walkout basement residence.
The fire was quickly extinguished within 20 minutes with extensions located in the attic space.
SMECO, the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office and American Red Cross was requested to the scene.
No known injuries were reported. Three cats were reportedly inside the home, it is unknown if they were located.
