On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at approximately 8:45 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the area of Billingsley Road and St. Francis Drive in Waldorf, for the reported motor vehicle collision involving a dirt bike.
The 911 caller reported they struck someone on a dirt bike, with the patient laying in the roadway.
Crews arrived on the scene to find the dirt bike operator suffering injuries to the lower and upper-body. EMS requested a helicopter a short time later.
Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 2 landed nearby and transported the 20-year-old male to the MedStar Trauma Center.
Police are investigating the motor vehicle collision.
