On Sunday, April 19, 2026, at approximately 12:20 a.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the 1313 Lounge located at 6971 Indian Head Highway in Bryans Road, for the reported shooting.
911 callers advised a man was shot with the suspect possibly still on scene.
Police arrived on the scene to find witnesses reporting subjects were fighting inside the business before exiting into the parking lot where shots were fired.
As deputies arrived, they located multiple subjects fleeing the area in vehicles.
A short time later, deputies located blood and shell casings at the scene. Local hospitals were alerted to be on standby for possible victims.
Less than 15 minutes later, a gunshot victim was dropped off at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center.
The shooting investigation is ongoing.
Deputies made one arrest, the suspect is known to police and has multiple previous felony convictions.
