The Panera Bread located in the South Plaza Shopping Center at 45250 Worth Avenue is set to close later this month, according to a notice posted at the restaurant.
The sign on the front door states the café will permanently close on April 26, thanking customers for their years of support and loyalty. The message also suggests the possibility of a future return at a new location.
A manager at the location confirmed the closure on April 20 but said no additional details were available regarding the reason for the shutdown. The manager indicated the closure may not be permanent long-term, noting the business is expected to reopen.
The café has served the California community for years, offering soups, sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. It has been a regular destination for casual dining, takeout, and coffee, including for members of Panera’s Unlimited Sip Club.
As of now, no official timeline or location for a reopening has been announced. Customers have until April 26 to visit the location before it closes.
