Recovery Centers of America (RCA) at Capital Region will celebrate its 8th anniversary with a community open house on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The event will bring together community partners, clinicians, local leaders, and alumni to recognize the facility’s impact in the region and outline plans for future growth.
During the celebration, RCA officials will provide updates on upcoming initiatives, including the expansion of sober living options and new outpatient services in Virginia aimed at increasing access to treatment and recovery support.
The event will feature remarks from Lamar Frizzell, CEO of Recovery Centers of America at Capital Region, along with alumni speakers sharing personal recovery stories.
Attendees can also expect a ceremonial ribbon cutting to mark the upcoming expansion, guided tours of the facility, and a community reception with networking opportunities and light refreshments.
The open house will be held at Recovery Centers of America at Capital Region, located at 11100 Billingsley Road in Waldorf.
