Christopher Robinson, 33, of Waldorf, is facing multiple charges including trespassing on private property, fraud involving personal identification to avoid prosecution, resisting or interfering with arrest, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.

The charges stem from an incident on April 23, 2026, in the Ridge area, where deputies with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a disturbance near Point Lookout Road.

According to the statement of probable cause, a deputy earlier spoke with Robinson at Fresh Pond Neck Road and advised him that he was not allowed to return to a Dollar General store on Point Lookout Road. The document states Robinson acknowledged he had previously received formal notice not to trespass at that location.

Later that day, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance near the store and nearby businesses. A witness told deputies Robinson was seen “in front of the exit of Dollar General” and “harassing and yelling at customers as they came in and exited the store.” Another witness confirmed he had been on the property after causing a disturbance at a nearby hardware store.

Deputies then attempted to take Robinson into custody. According to the report, he “resisted arrest after being given multiple orders to place his hands behind his back” and “pulled away his hands and body” from deputies during the arrest.

Court documents state that Robinson identified himself to deputies as “Terence Savoy” with a different date of birth. The name was later determined to be false after officers located his wallet and confirmed his identity through a Maryland identification card.

During a search, deputies reported finding “two metal smoking devices and one glass smoking device” containing burnt residue suspected to be crack cocaine. The report notes that the substance is classified as a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance.

Robinson was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center. According to the report, he again provided the false name to staff upon arrival.

Court records show Robinson waived his right to an attorney during his initial appearance, though that waiver applied only to that hearing. He was later found eligible for representation by the Public Defender’s Office.

A judicial officer ordered Robinson released on a $500 unsecured personal bond with conditions that he appear in court and not engage in further criminal activity.
