On Monday, May 11, 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the Dyson Building Center located at 20375 Point Lookout Road in Great Mills, for the serious motor vehicle collision with entrapment
Multiple 911 callers reported a crash involving a mini-van and tractor-trailer with the operator of the van trapped.
Crews arrived on the scene within minutes of dispatch to find a mini-van into the side of the trailer, with both occupants self-extricating.
EMS evaluated both patients and transported the adult female operator, and one passenger to the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.
Police are investigating the motor vehicle collision.
The operator of the semi-truck reported no injuries.
