
Anthony Otis Ducker, 60, of Capitol Heights
Anthony Otis Ducker, 60, of Capitol Heights, is facing a fugitive from justice case in Charles County District Court after authorities alleged he was wanted in Virginia on felony charges involving embezzlement and obtaining money by false pretenses.
The fugitive warrant states that Ducker was wanted in Fairfax, Virginia, for “felony embezzlement and obtain money by false pretense.”
According to charging documents, the application for the fugitive warrant was submitted by PFC Luke Smith of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office. The filing alleged Ducker had “fled from justice” after the alleged offenses in Virginia.
Court records indicate Ducker was ordered held without bond following his initial appearance on May 4, 2026. The initial appearance report stated, “The Defendant is to be HELD WITHOUT BOND.”
A bail review hearing was held May 5, 2026, before Judge Robert B. Riddle in Charles District Court. Records show Ducker remained held without bond following the hearing.
The court docket also states that Ducker voluntarily waived extradition on May 5, 2026. Documents filed in the case advised him of his right to challenge extradition proceedings and his right to legal counsel before agreeing to return to Virginia.
Additional court filings show Ducker was represented by the Charles County Public Defender’s Office during the proceedings.
