Southern Maryland residents will have a rare opportunity to see the SCAG Power Equipment Funny Car up close during a special display event at Guy Brothers Marine on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
The event will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Guy Brothers Marine, located at 23470 Budds Creek Road in Clements.
Attendees will be able to see the race car up close and experience the power of a professional drag racing machine. The event will also feature food trucks on site, including OTP Wing Wagon, Bluegrass BBQ & Dogs, and The Salted Scoop.
A prize drawing will also be held during the event. Guests will have the chance to win two VIP tickets to the NHRA Potomac Nationals on May 31, along with a $100
SCAG merchandise voucher to use at the race. The winner will be announced during the event, and participants must be present to enter.
The car appearance is sponsored by Guy Brothers Marine and Budds Creek Equipment.
