On Saturday, May 16, 2026, at approximately 1:14 p.m., police, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the 6200 block of North Solomons Island Road, for a serious motor vehicle collision with one overturned and trapped.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a multi-vehicle collision and confirmed one vehicle overturned with one occupant trapped.
While extricating the victim from the vehicle, a helicopter was requested to land nearby.
Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper 7 landed nearby and transported the patient to an area trauma center.
