Lydia Hayes Mcbride age 33 of Lexington Park
On Sunday, May 24, 2026, at approximately 8:50 p.m., police responded to the area of Three Notch Road and Shady Mile Drive in California, for the reported assault involving a vehicle.
The 911 caller reported his ex-wife was possibly impaired and purposely went around other vehicles in traffic to strike his vehicle multiple times before fleeing the scene.
While responding to the scene, the victim called 911 again to report the suspect was now chasing them.
Police arrived to find the suspects red GMC Yukon abandoned in the travel lane of Northbound Three Notch Road, with the victim, his child and the suspect located in a nearby parking lot.
EMS responded to the scene to evaluated all the adult male, the young child, and the female suspect. All involved parties denied injuries and transport, with EMS being placed in service a short time later.
Lydia Hayes Mcbride age 33 of Lexington Park was placed into custody at the scene. She is charged with two counts of second-degree assault and one count of disorderly conduct, with additional criminal and traffic charges pending.
